Providing a Quality Weekday Early Education
Here at The Academy we believe that each child is unique and deserving of God’s love. Our school is designed to assist in the spiritual, social, and educational growth of each student.
OUR TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
In today’s fast-paced culture the need for families to have more options in their child’s education is paramount. At The Academy, we are prayerful about adjustments we make to help better meet the needs of your child’s first education experience. There are several ways that the Academy stands as a beacon to meet the needs of your child’s early education.
01
Bible is taught each day in the classroom
Students attend Chapel each week as part of the daily program. Children are taught that Jesus is our Friend and Savior.
02
Communication is important to us
You may email us at TheAcademy@beONEChurch.com or call the Academy office at 678.782.4137.
03
Age Specific Curriculum
These classes change each month to remain timely and each option takes place on various days of the week, which is announced in the monthly newsletter.

- Chapel Classes

All of which include all students. Enrichment classes are offered each day to enhance each student’s early learning experience.

The Academy has a unique Pre-Kindergarten program set-up for students that are four by September 1st.
The difference in these classes PKa & b your very similar curriculum. Class moves at a pace based on their individual classes needs. These classes are great for a student who know some of their letters and numbers but need to have more time reinforcing what they have learned. Both Pre-K classes offer four- or five-day schedules. On Fridays, they combine for a fun day of reinforcing what they have learned throughout the week.
PKc is for students that have already been to school, are a little more mature and would enjoy a more structured learning environment. PKc is a five-day class.
All these classes meet or exceed the learning need to prepare your student for a successful kindergarten experience.
Our fourth Preschool class is Kindergarten Readiness (KR). It is structure more like a kindergarten class. This class is for our oldest four-year-old students having the following skills:
Know most/all letters and numbers – strong base on letter sounds.
Writes without frustration – can work independently
KR has a completely different set of curriculum than our PreK classes, this curriculum will challenge them to learn. We do not want a child to be overwhelmed or frustrated by the academics presented to them, so we welcome students who have either been recommended by their teacher for placement or have taken the Brigance Assessment. KR shadows Kindergarten by following the same school hours 9:00 – 1:00 Monday – Thursday until the student turns 5 and then 9:00 – 2:00 with Friday hours 9:00 – noon with the options of an additional hour of Friends at Play or Enrichment Classes that change monthly with new themes and learning. KR is perfect for the student who is ready for a challenge and a longer school day.
5 days
Monday thru Thursday 9-2
Friday 9-12 (Enrichment hour 12-1 Optional)
16 students per day with two teachers.
Our Kindergarten (K5) is smaller than the public-school kindergarten classes, so our teachers have more opportunities to work 1:1 with each student. Our teachers use many hands-on and interactive strategies to expose students to a wide variety of subjects in unique ways. ABC Boot Camp, Weird Science, theme days, technology and coding, music and role-play, are a few examples of fun and engaging ways we teach students the skills necessary to be set for success. Complete kindergarten standards are covered. Students are given opportunities and challenges to work at their own pace to surpass grade level when/if they are ready. If you ask any of our kindergarten parents, you will hear them say that they have never regretted the decision to place their students in our program. They excel in elementary school due to the foundation set by our preschool and kindergarten programs.
